How Much

The Price of the Fomema medical check-up for Domestic Maid is RM217, and Portal Transaction Fee RM3, Total RM220.

How Frequent

Starting from 16th December 2023, FOMEMA medical examination is required yearly, for every PLKS application and renewal.

What Test Included

Include Blood Test, Urine Test, Physical Check-Up, and X-ray.

Test for Variety of Diseases, such as Tuberculosis, Filariasis, Hepatitis etc.

Pregnancy Test also Included.

When to Test

7days within first entry day to Malaysia, 3 months prior to permit expiry date, Avoid doing test during maid's menstrual period.

Quick Note

It is better to do the Fomema test as early as possible because sometimes the result takes longer time to come out. Besides, if we want to appeal the result, it may takes several months for the appeal result to come out. So it is advised to do it early to avoid inability to renew permit before expiry.
